MnIPS' Vision:

Meeting the array of needs for the established IT professional while seeking to develop the IT profession and provide a service to our community and society.

History of MnIPS:

MnIPS is a volunteer-run organization for IT professionals in the Twin Cities area. The organization was formed in 1999 by merging the Twin Cities Chapter of ASM (Association for System Management) and the Twin Cities Chapter of ACM (Association for Computing Machinery).

What MnIPS has to offer:

  •  Networking and social opportunities with fellow IT professionals and vendors at monthly meetings, seminars, volunteer opportunities, and our ever-popular summer golf outing.
  •  A chance to practice and improve your management and inter-personal skills while staying current with new technologies and trends.
  •  Joint meetings and alliances with peer professional groups and associations. See the MnIPS WEB site for other professional groups and associations at http://www.mnips.org/doc/links.html
  •  Educational training through monthly presentations, annual seminars and newsletter articles.
  •  A monthly newsletter and our website to keep you informed and connected to the pulse of our industry.

In addition, your support of MnIPS helps fund charitable donations to several area charities and educational institutions.
